Prepare the figurine.

Apply primer only if you sanded or modified certain areas — use jar #2 to re-prime those spots.

(All figures come fully pre-primed and ready to paint.)

Apply a base coat.

Use a wide brush to evenly coat the figure.

Add details. Thin brushes will help draw contours and small elements.

Experiment with colors.

Mix it up, try it out, don't be afraid to do it your own way - art has no rules.

Coat with varnish

Let the paint dry. Do not touch the figurine for at least 30 minutes.

Apply a protective varnish - jar #3. This will preserve the colors and add shine.

  • Apply paint in thin layers for a cleaner, neater finish. Use a dry brush for an "aged effect".

  • Don't be afraid of mistakes. Sometimes they create the best details.

  • And most importantly, enjoy the process.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The paint has thickened, what should I do?

Add a couple of drops of water and stir well.

Why does some paint not stick to the figure?

Some colors (especially gold, silver, yellow, red, white) are naturally more transparent and may look like they “slide” or don’t cover the surface on the first layer.

This is normal for acrylic paints.

How to fix it:

  • Do not add too much water; use it almost straight from the jar.
  • Apply 2–3 thin layers, not one thick layer.
  • Make sure the figure is clean and dry before painting.

What to do if paint still slides off the surface?

  • Lightly sand the problematic area with the included sandpaper.
  • Apply a very thin layer of primer.
  • Let it dry for 20–30 minutes.
  • Paint again with thin coats.

This usually solves the problem completely.

How long does it take for paint or varnish to dry?

At room temperature - approximately 1-2 hours for paint and 12 hours for varnish.

What if I messed up the layer?

Let it dry and just apply a new one on top - the paints are acrylic and easy to cover.
